Hi all, i was just wondering if an advice board was ever considered a possibility. You know, people could discuss their problems and receive advice from other users. Advice is always just advice, you can take it or leave it, so it wouldnt be a problem if people didnt wanna hear what advice you gave, right? Just some thoughts.
That's a good idea as there are a lot of helpful people on here that will listen to each other.

I like the idea, but wouldn't a lot of it fit into other boards, i.e. dating advice, computer advice, etc?
I'm all for that idea ..but I've also noticed how closed people are on this site,they wont discuss anything remotely personal so would this really work, or as i suspect become obsolete due to that proble.
People probably fear talking about personal stuff for fear of being attacked by trolls. Y'know, they might ahve some kind of problem and somebody will say something like "Stop whinining and get over it."

I certainly certainly agree with RR. Most people on the site are very genuin so would benefit if only not for the trolls on here who's main idea it is to personally attack for no reason just to start a flame war because it's "funny" to them. It's a shame but that's the way it is. I also like the idea but I spose it should be known by everyone posting that the reality of the net is that you may be ridiculed by people that can't get it out of their heads that it's fun to mess with others. ..
I, for example consider myself a very open and proud individual but in saying that I would fear posting because of those few people who enjoy getting their kicks out of bringing others down. hmmm for this reason, I don't know if I could use it, even though I'd know I could get a lot of great feedback/advice.
I agree it wouldn't be that benificial for that reason. I myself don't like to get too personal on boards do to this reason.

Hmmm i see your points. Its too bad that thats the reality of the situation because talking face-to-face with people about problems is even more embarrassing and humiliating.
totally agree with you niblet17. .. we could always make one and see how we go. but like I said before, just realize that you could get people who are not out to take you seriously at all and if it's a real personal problem, it could really really do some dammage. It's truly a shame but I guess it's life unfortunately. :(
As for the person who posed a question about shared music, you might want to start a post in Geeks R Us about it, I don't know what to tell you, but i daresay others will.

Hmmm I guess you guys are right. How about the, a teen issues board? That way, at least, us teens on the zone have a little place to discuss whatever issues that we have to deal with, ones that adults probably dont care about anyways.
